How we collect your data.
Crest Recruitment holds your data because you have made it available to us with assumed consent. This could be in one of the following ways:

You have sent your details directly to us.
You have publicly available sources such as LinkedIn and job sites.
You have been recommended to us by a former colleague, employer or other.

The data we collect and process.
In order to match you to suitable roles, we will use your data to present your career history, skills and education to a potential employer.

We do not seek or require any personal or private data relating to your religion, ethnicity, age, sexual persuasion, political views, or any data not relevant to matching your professional capabilities to a role.

When presenting your data to a client, we will not provide your address or contact details, but we will inform the client in broad terms of where you live i.e. by county or city. Your full contact details are only passed on if you have been offered and accepted a role. On occasion, a client may wish to liaise directly with a candidate, in which case we will seek permission to pass on your contact details.

We will present your data to a client with your knowledge and permission following a discussion about the relevant position.

We will contact you via email, phone or social media. If you have a preference as to how we contact you, this will be added to your data.

Who we share data with.
Data is shared with a client who has initiated a job search. We do not share your information with third parties.

How long we keep personal data for.
Five years from last contact.

Client data.
We hold data relating to clients’ contact information for legitimate business reasons, and this data can be viewed, updated, amended or removed.

Data provided to clients.
Crest Recruitment does not give consent for any data provided to a client to be shared with a third party.
